About Karmen Lateace Just, LPC, CPCS
Karmen Just, LPC, CPCS is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in the state of Georgia. Karmen has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Albany State University (2003) and her Master of Arts degree from Argosy University (2008). Karmen has worked in the mental health field for over 17 years in a variety of settings including group homes, partial hospital settings, community-based, school-based and clinic based. She has a passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults facing emotional and behavioral issues including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety, depression, conduct disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and anger management. Karmen is also experienced in working with crisis intervention and helping to provide stabilization during these difficult times. She works with individuals, couples and families with an emphasis on the entire unit by focusing on the mind, body and spirit. Karmen is committed to providing the highest quality of care to promote healing, growth and self-development. Karmen Just is committed to assisting clients in achieving a well-rounded healthy approach to living.

2. CONSULTATION
The 15 minute initial consultation provides you with the opportunity to ask questions, meet me, learn about my services, and decide if you think I am the right therapist for you and your circumstances. (If I am not, no pressure. Hopefully I can steer you in the right direction.)
3. INITIAL SESSION
Here is where we begin the process of helping you facilitate the work of discovering the best version of you. Here we begin discussing questions about why you are seeking counseling, how the current problem is impacting your life, your history and your goals of therapy.
4. SESSIONS
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Here you and I will work collaboratively through discussions, exercises and proven therapeutic techniques that build a foundation that addresses your life concerns.
5. ADD PEACE AND HEALING TO YOUR LIFE
Over time you will experience the power and benefits of the therapeutic process. You’ll be encouraged to address your challenges, adopt new coping skills, understand how to heal yourself and accept that you are allowed to live your best l
